On Saturday, December 14th, 2019. Filco Carting Corp. partnered with NYPD’s 75th Precinct for Brooklyn Community Board #5’s Children’s Christmas Party held at Junior High School #218 James P. Sinnott. Filco Carting’s drivers, helpers & employees donated many toys for the event, along with other donations from the community.
For 4 hours, children from the community enjoyed playing in the gymnasium while they danced to music from the DJ. Afterwards, everyone lined up for a new pair of dress shoes and their choice of one gift from the toy & games table.
Everyone enjoyed Pizza, Popeyes Chicken, McDonald’s Apple Pies & refreshments donated from local businesses. Toward the end of the event, Santa Claus made a special appearance, taking photos with the children after they received their choice of toy or game.
We look forward to future events and partnerships with other organizations in this great city.
