Accounts Receivable Clerk
The accounts receivable clerk is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization.

Applies customer payments.
Researches and solves payment discrepancies.
Processes credit card payments and credits.
Makes adjustments to accounts as needed.
Prepares weekly manual deposits.
Prepares weekly reports for accountants.
Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Travel No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Two to three years’ previous experience.
Preferred Education and Experience Associate degree in accounting.

Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes
Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
5+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Must possess a valid driver license, CDL License (Preferred)
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
Excellent reading and writing skills
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
We are seeking a qualified, dependable a CDL Class B truck driver to join our delivery team. In this role you will be responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading goods as well as confirming accuracy and safety of delivery contents. Must be an efficient and accountable worker with a clean driving record.
Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
Pick-up loads and organize assign routes in an ordered and logical manner
Ensure loads are properly secured outside the truck to prevent breakage, accidents or damage
Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinations
Obtain signatures to confirm and complete service with our customers
Communicate with dispatch as needed
Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the working order
Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
Check weather conditions and road reports before departure
Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
Notify dispatch of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
Maintain detailed driving and delivery / pickups records
Track and report DOT working hours
Adhere to company and Local 108 Union rules and regulations
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
Comply with State and Federal DOT regulations
Make safety a priority at all times
Excellent knowledge of the New York City Area
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred (Preferred)
Valid Class B driver’s license required
2+ years proven experience driving a tractor-trailer or large truck preferred
Clean driving record with no moving violations
Must pass background check and drug test
Skilled and confident driver
Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer
Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
Physically and mentally fit
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. at a time
Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
