Earlier this week, Filco Carting donated a new American Flag to Principal Hermann of Junior High School 218. The American Flag will be displayed in her office, resting behind the principal. Students who meet with her in her office will be reminded that Principal Hermann is to be respected as she’s been entrusted to provide them with the best education possible.
The flag will also be displayed in the auditorium when the school has their yearly musical, student performances, end of the year graduation and when the school hosts the local monthly Community Board Meetings.
NYPD 75th Prescient’s Detective Marcus Johnson, Officer Michael Garcia, and Filco Carting’s Joshua Eisenstein brought the new flag to the school, putting it together and discussing ways local businesses can help support the school and the community.
